The Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge & Marathon is a major sporting event taking place on September 23, 2023. - 5:00 AM - 1:00 PM: The Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge will be completely closed to vehicular traffic for the marathon.
- 5:00 AM - 2:00 PM: Various roads surrounding the starting and finishing lines will be closed to traffic, including:
- Île-Perrot: Île Perrot Blvd. from Highway 20 to 5th Ave.
- Vaudreuil-Dorion: Soulanges Blvd. from Highway 40 to Lakeshore Road
- Laval: Le Corbusier Blvd. from Highway 40 to the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge
Important Note: There will be no access to the Île-aux-Tourtes Bridge for vehicles during the closure period.

- Highway 40: The Trans-Canada Highway (Highway 40) will be the primary alternative route for motorists traveling between Montreal and the Vaudreuil-Soulanges region.
- Highway 20: Highway 20 is another option for motorists, though traffic is expected to be heavy.
- Highway 30: Highway 30 may offer an alternative route, but it is recommended to check traffic conditions before embarking on this route.
